Details: Long before Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin,
and Liszt, prominent musicians have been masters of improvisation and it is an art form that encompasses all genres. Intermediate and advanced level musicians will receive hands-on tips and training on how to improvise with a blues scale, with keyboards provided for all participants.
Presenter Bio: Robert Fisher has been playing keyboards since the age of ten. He graduated from Arizona State University where he studied music theory and composition.
He has a special passion for composing music, and finished 3rd place nationally in the Music Teacher's National Composition Competition in 1988. As a professional musician, Robert has toured with The Fortunes, and performed with The Coasters and Ritchie Havens.
Robert just completed his third CD, titled Jazzed Up. He enjoys performing and teaching all styles of music including classical, jazz, and pop, and loves sharing his passion of music with his students.
He believes that music instruction should not only be educational, but also enjoyable, exciting and rewarding.
